Medical Camp at Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey 2011
This year, Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey held its Medical Camp on Sunday, November 13th, 2011. Community doctors, nurses, volunteers, and temple disciples worked together to provide other disciples and community members with free physical, dental, vision, and EKG checkups as well as blood work at no cost.

The purpose of Diwali is to remove all sources of darkness (ignorance, greed, worldly desires, thoughts, etc.) from within us and replace them with light, which symbolizes the true knowledge and divinity of the Lord.

India Day Parade - Atlantic City, NJ 2011
The first annual India Day Parade, hosted by the Indo-US Council, celebrating independence in Atlantic City was held on Saturday, August 13th, 2011, and none other than Swamibapa Pipe Band and disciples of Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey were given the great honor of leading it.

Delaware Sabha - 2011
The sabha was held at the Claymont Fire Comany Hall, and it began in the late afternoon. Hundreds of disciples had gathered. Sants performed kirtan-bhakti and katha.

On Sunday, August 7th, 2011, His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree performed the 10th annual Patotsav ceremony to the murtis of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa.

Dashabdi Mahotsav - Day 3
The morning of August 6th, 2011, the Dashabdi celebrations continued. Around 8 am, a swagat yatra was led from the small temple parking lot, around the temple, and to the main entrance of the temple. Swamibapa Pipe Band led the parade, His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree was seated on the beautiful chariot, and sants and disciples walked along in the procession.

Dashabdi Mahotsav - Day 2
The Dashabdi Mahotsav celebrations continued the morning of August 5th, 2011. At 7 am, disciples sponsoring the large Vachanamrut parayans performed maha-pooja in Swamibapa Hall. Afterwards, a swagat yatra was led from the small temple parking lot, around the temple, and to the main entrance of the temple.

Dashabdi Mahotsav - Day 1
It seemed like only yesterday the Murti Pratishtha Mahotsav of Shree Swaminarayan Temple New Jersey had taken place and His Divine Holiness Acharya Swamishree had installed the divine idols of Lord Swaminarayanbapa Swamibapa in the temple sinhasan after the historic Suvarna Tula ceremony.
